Slowly Savouring Life’s Moments
Moondrop is a Shanghai-inspired cocktail bar in Melbourne, designed as a celebration of people, hospitality and indulgence. We partnered with Mike Lam and Joanna Ho to name and craft a brand identity centred on the rabbit’s enduring place in Chinese culture and folklore. Inspired by the fable of the jade rabbit in the moon, the name imagines a drop of its mythical life elixir falling to earth, a fitting metaphor for the bar’s refined cocktails.
