Soya

Breaking the boundaries of how flowers are traditionally viewed.

Rooted in Creativity. Grown Together.

Soya is a creative floristry practice that uses flowers as a medium for expression. While respecting tradition, the branding needed to be unafraid of bold experimentation, as Soya was beginning to engage in more collaborations with modern artists, creatives and conceptual events. This ultimately challenged us to find the right balance between heritage and modernity.

Rikka Philosophy

Rikka is a Japanese floral artform rooted in Soya’s practice, that emphasises minimalism and the inherent beauty of nature. Line-drawn floral patterns map the stem positions of Rikka arrangements, introducing a gentle, sophisticated counterpoint to the bold typography.

Photography Campaign

Close-crop photography frames individual flowers as sculptural objects, inviting viewers to appreciate their form and texture. Experimental type and image compositions convey an openness to new ideas and blur the line between floristry and art.

Digital Presence

Soya’s website is built in Readymag. It is an elevated and artistic digital experience that conveys the many different floral services offered by Soya clearly. We also created a suite of flexible digital templates that ensure consistent and elegant brand expression across social media platforms.

AGDA BRAND & IDENTITY FINALIST 2025

TESTIMONIAL

“Rebranding with Local Optima completely transformed my business.
It was easily one of the best investments I’ve made. I went from working with locals to landing major clients like OpenTable and the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival within just a few months. The rebrand gave my business a strong, clear identity and positioned me for bigger opportunities. It laid the foundation for sustainable growth and greater visibility.”

– KEVIN TWAN, FOUNDER OF SOYA
